My friends never like coming over, all because of one rule my husband keeps. Nothing in the house can be moved out of place. The teacups have to sit in the center of the coffee table. The throw pillows have to stay on either side of the couch. Even the couch has to be angled just right, so it faces the mimosa tree outside the window. All because these were his late wife's habits.
