Aunt Married Poor, Kicked Out, Yet Gave Me Ten Million

The news that Aunt Hildegarde was coming home went out in the family group chat. Nobody answered. My father said: "That poor beggar. Still has the nerve to show her face." My uncle said: "When she shows up, I'm not giving her the time of day. You shouldn't either, big brother." Ever since I was little, Aunt Hildegarde had been the family's cautionary tale. Twenty years ago she stole the family papers and ran off to marry some penniless nobody up in the mountains, a man named Mark Chavez.
