He Gambled Our Marriage on the World Cup

When I came home late after working overtime, I found my husband's female friend sitting on his lap watching the World Cup.

When she saw me, Chloe pointed at the TV and said with a smile:

"Ethan, let's make a bet, and if Haaland scores this goal, you divorce your wife, okay?"

"Then marry me, because I want a huge wedding!"

Ethan patted her on the ass, his tone indulgent:

"What if he doesn't score?"

Chloe pouted and said, "If I lose, lock your wife in the bathroom!"

I listened as they used my marriage as a bet on a soccer game, and my face stayed blank.
