He Wanted Her, He Lost Me, and I Never Looked Back

Instead of standing beside me during the most important night of my life—my induction into the family—my partner, Marcello Moretti, was nowhere to be found.

While I faced the council alone, he was across the world in Monaco, basking in luxury with Serafina Vitale—his childhood love and the woman everyone knew he could never quite let go of.

In his place, I received a bouquet of flowers and an envelope thick with cash. A cold substitute for loyalty. For respect. For me.

When I reached him through our private line, his voice was calm, distant—like none of it mattered.
