My Ex-Boss Gave Me An $888 Bonus. So I Ruined His $100 Million Company.

I worked my ass off for the company for an entire year. I closed an $80 million contract, but my year-end bonus was a measly $888.

Meanwhile, my boss Richard’s useless nephew, Chase, who did nothing but play video games at his desk all day, received a cash bonus of $880,000.

Richard patted my shoulder, smiling like a saint.

"Sophia, 888 is an angel number! It represents abundance and financial flow. I’m wishing you endless wealth for next year!"

"Money isn’t the point here. What matters is that the company values you!"
