My Ex Returned When I chose another Alpha

My mate and his so-called "adopted sister" were caught spending the night together in an abandoned den during the warriors' patrol.

When I went to bring him back to the pack, fresh love bites covered his neck as he stood there comforting her while she buried her face in his chest.

"The barrier around her den broke," he explained. "She was scared, so I stayed with her."

Before, I would've flown into a rage and demanded an explanation.

But this time, I was done being the jealous, unreasonable mate.

I quietly signed the release papers without saying a word.
