My Guard Abandoned Me for My Half-Sister, So I Ordered His Suicide

When my father died, he left me seven swift and deadly shadow guards. But when the rebel army stormed the imperial city, the captain of the shadow guards abandoned me and ran off into the palace to save my illegitimate half-sister. "This servant failed to protect you. I beg you to punish me, my lady!" I glanced back at the shadow guard lying on the sickbed, breathing out far more than he was breathing in.
