My Mate Killed Our Daughter

As my mate Roderic Ravenshade was heading home to fetch our daughter Aeliana from her wolfpack lessons, he suddenly howled that something urgent had come up. He left Aeliana halfway and ordered me to take over.

Worried that something might happen to her, despite running a high fever, I sprinted through the forest toward her. But I was still too late.

A speeding hunter’s truck, with no markings, struck her and vanished into the night, leaving her lifeless.

Clutching Aeliana’s body, I howled in despair.
