When the Fireworks Fade, I Won't Turn Back

At my fiancé Marcus Vance's birthday party, everyone got rowdy and decided to play an emotional murder-mystery role-play game. When the roles were handed out, though, he took the female lead role that was supposed to be paired with me and gave it straight to Molly Pruitt, his ex who had just come back to the country. "Molly just got back, and she's been down. This lead role has the strongest experience, so let her play it." He shoved a minor side-character card into my hand. "You can just mess around with this one, help us fill out the numbers."
