At the Birthday Party, My Sister Brought Abortion Tonic
Chapter 4
"Of course, of course. My sister's the one who did something filthy, so it's only natural you'd have concerns."
"Don't you worry, Mr. Head. We'll take her for the exam right away."
Antonia said it in an even more fawning, groveling tone, all directed at Victor.
Victor was clearly pleased with the Farleys' response. He stood and openly looked me over a few more times.
"Fine. Go get it done, quickly. I've got a party tonight, so dress her up nice. Don't put her in some frumpy country getup, it's not humiliating enough."
Antonia sounded like a madam peddling one of her girls. What came out of her mouth made your face burn just to hear it.
"Yes, yes, yes. I'll go pick out a few sexy pieces for her myself. I promise she'll look good enough to show off."
I couldn't stand another second of it. What did they take me for?
Was I the eldest daughter of a wealthy family, or a girl being sold?
"Ha. What a household of morons. The Heads, the property people, right? You really have no idea who I am."
My voice went completely cold.
【Crack!!】
No warning at all.
My father, right beside me, suddenly swung his hand and slapped me across the face.
He put his weight behind it. Blood welled up at the corner of my mouth on the spot.
"You little wretch! How dare you talk to Mr. Head like that? You don't know your place! Head Real Estate is ten times the size of our company!"
"Getting to be Mr. Head's mistress is a blessing for you! Embarrass me again and don't blame me for what I do!"
I lifted my head. The calm in my eyes was gone, replaced by pure hatred.
It had been years. Years since anyone had struck me like that.
"Ha. I gave you people far too much face."
"Since you've thrown yours away, don't blame me for treating you like strangers."
I clenched my fists, teeth grinding as I said it.
"What? You'd dare raise a hand against your own father?"
Antonia jeered from the side, and at the same time she raised her leg to kick me in the stomach.
I was done, completely disappointed in them, and there was no way I'd let Antonia land it.
The instant her leg came up, I dropped her with a single kick, then drove my heel down hard onto that repulsive face of hers.
【Aaah!!!】
Antonia grabbed my foot on reflex, shrieking in agony.
Satisfying.
I let out a hard breath and turned to look at my parents.
My father watched me warily, stiffening his neck as he barked, "Sabina! Drop the street-thug act on us, and let go of your sister right now!"
I heard him, and I stomped down on Antonia's face a few more times before I finally lifted my foot.
Antonia clutched her face and sobbed. "Dad! My face is ruined!"
Victor, though, wasn't the least bit rattled. He stood off to the side and said, sounding genuinely intrigued, "She's got a temper. That's exactly what I like, conquering a woman with some fire in her."
Hearing that, I strode straight over on my long legs and threw a punch that sent his gold-rimmed glasses flying.
"Ha. And I love beating scum like you most of all."
Victor never saw it coming. He took the punch flush and yelled, "You dare hit me? Do the Farleys have a death wish?"
My father was scared half to death. He gasped, "Mr. Head!"
"You little bastard! You dare lay a hand on Mr. Head! I'll teach you a lesson today!"
And with that, he came at me for another slap.
This time I was ready. One useless old drunk of a man, and one kick put him on the floor.
"Oh no! Someone's dead… someone's dead…"
My mother's eyes rolled back, and she dropped down onto her backside, slapping her thighs and wailing right along.
In no time the Head mansion was in total chaos.
Right then, the tightly shut front doors of the Head mansion swung open.
Cary and Clarissa Head were back, together.
At that moment I was chasing Victor down and pummeling him. The idiot had actually sucker-punched me earlier, while I was busy dealing with my father.
"Mom, Dad! You're back just in time! Call for help! This Farley lunatic is about to beat me to death!"
The second Victor saw his parents, he begged for rescue.
