Caught on Camera. The CEO's Sweet Revenge

Chapter 1

Returning from a luxury shopping trip in Paris, I walked into my husband's office and noticed something different. An entire wall had been replaced with a massive mirror.

In the bottom corner of the glass, there was a smudge of bright red lipstick. If I looked closely, I could even make out the faint, foggy outline of a woman's body pressed against it.

I quickly calculated the measurements of that silhouette.

Not very tall, but incredibly curvy. Probably a double-D cup.

And that shade of red lipstick? It was the exact shade I had given to Chloe Miller.

Chloe was a college student I had personally sponsored through my family's charity foundation.

I never would have guessed that a girl who always acted so innocent and pathetic in front of me could be such a seductive snake behind my back.

But I didn't make a scene. I pretended I saw nothing. Instead, I quietly had the glass replaced with a two-way mirror.

Then, I reached out to major local media outlets and invited them to a press conference in three days.

Since Julian and Chloe loved getting cheap thrills in the office so much, I was more than happy to let them host a live sex show for the public.

After hanging up with a reporter, I stared at the family portrait on my desk.

In the photo, Julian and I were holding our son, Leo. All of us were smiling brightly.

Julian Carter and I were college sweethearts.

We started from nothing, built Bennett Enterprise together, and created a warm, perfect home.

Now, Leo was five years old, and Julian was universally praised as the ultimate family man.

If I hadn't spotted those incriminating clues on the mirror, I would still believe I was the luckiest woman in the world.

My phone buzzed.

I looked down. It was a screenshot sent by my personal assistant, showing an Instagram post from Chloe's burner account.

The photo was a selfie taken in front of the office mirror.

She was wearing an oversized men's dress shirt, pantyless, with visible hickeys scattered across her collarbone.

The caption read: "He said this mirror belongs to me now."

I took a deep breath, a wave of nausea hitting me. It felt like I had just swallowed a fly.

Chloe was the girl I had saved from poverty three years ago.

Back then, she begged me with tears in her eyes for an opportunity, promising she would do anything to repay my kindness.

I felt sorry for her. Not only did I fund her entire college tuition, but I also bypassed company policy to give her an internship at Bennett Enterprise.

And this was how she chose to repay her savior. By crawling into my husband's bed.

Julian walked out of the en-suite bathroom, freshly showered. Seeing me staring intensely at my phone, he wrapped his arms around me from behind.

"What are you looking at so seriously, Audrey?"

"Nothing. Just looking at the new interns. They seem very... energetic."

I locked my phone with a calm expression and turned to face him.

Julian's eyes flickered with a brief moment of panic, but he quickly masked it with a smooth smile.

"Are you talking about Chloe? She is a hard worker. Since you were the one who sponsored her, I've been keeping an eye on her and offering some guidance."

"Oh, really?"

I gave him a half-smile.

"Does 'guidance' include helping her choose her intimate wear?"

Julian's face stiffened slightly, but he regained his composure in a second.

"Audrey, you're overthinking. On my last business trip, my clothes got dirty, and she took them to the dry cleaners. Some things must have gotten mixed up."

"Don't worry, honey. You're the only one in my heart."

He leaned down, trying to kiss me.

I turned my head slightly, letting his lips brush my cheek, and said flatly, "I'm exhausted. Let's sleep."

Julian froze for a moment, then awkwardly pulled his hand back.

"Alright. Get some rest. I'll go to the study to catch up on some emails."

Watching his hurried retreat, the coldness in my eyes deepened.

Catch up on emails?

More like catching up on comforting his sweet little mistress.

I didn't expose him. Instead, I fired off a text message to my private investigator.

"Find out every single asset registered under Chloe Miller's name. Also, track all of Julian's financial transactions over the past six months."

"And prepare a divorce agreement. The term? He leaves with absolutely nothing."

Since they wanted to play with fire right under my nose, I was going to help them burn.
