My Billionaire Husband Bought Out My Gym After I Was Slandered
Chapter 1
To help me hit my monthly sales quota at the gym, my husband bought five hundred of my private training sessions in one go.
Right as I was leaving work with him, the gym’s top-selling trainer sent me a screenshot.
It was my husband's receipt. A whopping $150,000.
"Not bad for a newbie. Hooking a sugar daddy for a hundred and fifty grand? What are you teaching him, bedroom yoga?"
I replied with a blank face.
"Your entire sales revenue this month isn't even a fraction of my single order, is it?"
But the next morning, every single member in the gym was looking at me with dirty eyes.
All because she had posted an anonymous leak in the members' Snapchat group!
[A certain trainer will do anything for sales. She’s providing ‘special services’ for $150,000 a pop!]
The moment I walked into the gym, I felt like the center of attention.
It wasn't because of my athletic body, nor was it because of my professional credentials.
It was because of the looks glued to me—a toxic mix of disgust, curiosity, and dirty thoughts.
Members were gathered in small groups, pointing at me and whispering.
"That's her, right? I heard she charges a hundred and fifty grand for a night."
"She looks so innocent. I didn't think she'd play that dirty."
"No wonder Fiona, our top seller, couldn't beat her. They are playing in completely different leagues."
I kept my face neutral and walked into the locker room, bumping straight into Fiona. She was applying bright red lipstick in front of the mirror, her eyes dripping with smugness.
Seeing me, she raised her voice so everyone could hear.
"Oh, Chloe! You're here so early? I thought you'd be too exhausted from 'overtime' last night to make it in today."
The trainers standing around her immediately burst into laughter.
I ignored her and walked straight to my locker.
But Fiona wouldn't let it go. She followed me, crossing her arms and leaning against the locker next to mine.
"Cat got your tongue? Feeling guilty? Honestly, after doing something like that, I wouldn't have the face to show up either."
"But hey, I should thank you. Your hundred-and-fifty-grand 'special service' really put our gym on the map." She giggled. "Now the whole fitness scene knows we have a 'Million-Dollar Baby' here."
I pulled out my change of clothes and slammed my locker door shut.
The loud bang echoed, making the locker room instantly silent.
I turned around and looked her dead in the eye.
"Fiona, slander is illegal."
She gasped as if I had just told the funniest joke in the world.
"Me? Slandering you? I didn't say a thing. I wasn't the one who posted in the Snapchat group," she said with mock innocence. "Besides, where there’s smoke, there’s fire. If you’re so clean, why are you so scared of people talking?"
Just then, the manager's assistant ran in.
"Chloe, Manager Marcus wants to see you in his office right now."
Fiona’s smirk widened. She patted my shoulder with mock sympathy.
"Go on. Go explain things to Marcus. After all, you’re our gym’s biggest 'hero' now."
