My Billionaire Wife Wanted An Open Marriage, So I Left Her

I rushed to the scene of the car accident immediately after hearing about my father.

But when I arrived, I saw my wife, Chloe Miller, standing with the driver who caused the crash. Her clothes were a complete mess.

The dashcam footage revealed everything. At the exact moment of the collision, Chloe was giving the driver a blowjob.

Furious, I punched the man hard in the face. But my wife immediately threw herself in front of him to shield him from me.

Later, the police took them both in for questioning.

I was left alone, waiting outside my father's operating room.

As I sat there, I forced myself to calm down and began gathering evidence. I swore I would put that man behind bars.

I didn't expect Chloe to storm into the hospital. She grabbed a cup from the lobby and smashed it over my head.

"Liam is a licensed attorney, Ethan! Do you want to ruin his entire career? What is wrong with you!"

I calmly wiped the blood dripping down my forehead and looked at her panicked face.

This wasn't her first time cheating on me, but it was the first time she seemed so genuinely invested in one of her flings.

My mind flashed back to the fifth year of our marriage, when she had smiled at me and casually said:

"Don't you think sleeping with only one person for the rest of your life is boring? To be fair, I won't care who you sleep with either."

"I only give them my body, Ethan. But I give you my heart. That's real love."

Later, I did exactly what she wanted. I stayed with the girl she had personally sent to my bed.

But then, she knelt on the floor, begging me to come home.

The blood wouldn't stop flowing. Panicking, Chloe pulled some tissues from her purse, ran over to me, and began wiping my forehead while frowning.

"Why didn't you dodge? Does it hurt?"

"I didn't mean to hit you. I was just acting in the heat of the moment! Liam is still young, and he's so talented. I'm just trying to protect his potential. Be good, Ethan. Let's just drop this whole thing."

I slapped her hand away, my eyes cold and steady. "That was my dad he hit!"

"Oh, come on. Your dad loves money anyway. If you really want what's best for him, just take the settlement money and end this."

My face grew incredibly pale. Just as I was about to speak, her phone rang.

"Chloe, where are you? They've been questioning me for hours. They won't even let me eat. I'm so dizzy and hungry I can barely stand."

Chloe had accidentally pressed the speakerphone. Liam Vance's whiny, pitiful voice echoed through the hallway.

Hearing his voice, she clenched her phone, her eyes instantly filling with worry. "Hold on. I'm coming back right now!"

She hung up, took a deep breath, and looked up at me. "Ethan, I'll give you one last chance. Are you going to sign this settlement waiver or not?"

When I gave her a cold, silent refusal, Chloe turned around and walked away without looking back.

I had seen her back as she walked away from me too many times over the past few years.

But we weren't always like this.

After graduation, I started working at Miller Enterprises. Chloe was the very first intern I was assigned to train.

At that time, no one in the company knew her real identity as the heiress, including me.

She was energetic, passionate, and eager to learn, but she made plenty of mistakes. I was always the one quietly cleaning up her messes.

During a company party, she had a bit too much to drink. Bold with alcohol, she pinned me against the wall and kissed me. "Ethan, I like you! I don't want to be just your intern anymore. I want to be your girlfriend. Actually, I want to be your wife!"

The scent of alcohol on her breath seemed to intoxicate me too. Lightheaded and confused, I agreed.

By the time I found out she was the daughter of the CEO, I was already too deep in love to run away.

Chloe loved me fiercely, and everyone knew it.

For my sake, she replaced every male employee on her office floor with women. She remembered every single anniversary.

She knew my family members' birthdays, and if I glanced at something in a store window for more than a second, she would buy it and surprise me the next day.

People mocked her behind her back, saying a powerful female billionaire was being wrapped around a regular guy's finger, but she didn't care at all.

But nobody could have guessed that a woman who loved me that much...

Would suddenly announce her demand for an open marriage on our fifth anniversary.

Chloe wasn't asking for my opinion. She was just informing me.

And Liam, the driver who ran over my dad, was her thirteenth lover since we made that deal.
