My Husband Gave My Womb To His Mistress

His expression was incredibly sincere.

But I found his hypocrisy utterly laughable.

Trust him?

He was the one who turned Leo's birthday into his death anniversary.

He was the one who, to fulfill another woman's so-called wish, removed my uterus, making me infertile forever.

He was the one who, to rush into bed with that woman, cruelly threw my three-month-old child into the trash.

He was the one who claimed it was for my own good, yet cut off my breasts, robbing me of my right to be a woman.

Trust him? I'd sooner trust a dog.

I turned my head, not wanting to see his disgusting face.

Seeing that I wouldn't acknowledge him, he reached over to turn my body towards him.

"Aurora, I know you're hurting. I'm hurting too, about the baby. Just cry it out; you'll feel better."

He ignored my resistance and pulled me into his embrace.

Tears streaming down my face, I closed my eyes and said, "If you truly care about me, then throw away those flowers."

"I'm allergic to roses."

After saying that, I truly felt ridiculous.

Seven years of marriage, and he remembered all of Serena's preferences, but didn't even know I was allergic to roses.

Ethan looked a bit awkward as he took the flowers away.

That evening, Ethan was about to personally feed me when his phone suddenly rang.

His phone was on the nightstand, its screen dark.

It was his backup phone that rang.

I glimpsed the screen and saw the contact name "Sweetheart."

He quickly stood up to answer the call.

Even though he walked a few steps away, I still overheard a little.

On the other end, Serena was whining, a little angry, saying he promised she'd see him first thing after her surgery, but he hadn't come yet.

Ethan immediately started to soothe her in a soft voice.

He hurriedly told me he had to work late and left.

I sneered.

His lies were so clumsy and perfunctory, even a three-year-old could see through them.

As soon as he left, I immediately called my best friend abroad.

"Book me a flight, for seven days from now."

Ethan kept saying he was working late every day.

I knew exactly where he was "working late," but I didn't say anything.

Once my body felt a little better, I started preparing to leave.

That day, as soon as I walked in, I heard a syrupy sweet voice.

No need to guess, it was Serena.

I was hesitating whether to go in when they saw me.

Serena, beaming, pulled me inside.

"Aurora, dear, you're back! I heard you had surgery, so I came to visit."

She deliberately puffed out her abdomen, flaunting my uterus that was now inside her.

Watching her smug, fake-sweet demeanor, I felt utterly disgusted.

I ignored her and went straight upstairs to get my things.

To my surprise, she followed me.

She slammed the door shut, her face changing instantly. She shrieked, "Aurora, what are you pretending for? You'll never be able to have kids again, you're not even a real woman!"

"Didn't expect it, did you? Ethan loves me so much he transplanted your uterus to me!"

"And it's hilarious that Ethan even cut off your breasts. It seems he truly despises you!"

Seeing no reaction from me, she got angry and raised her voice, maliciously adding, "Aurora, I remember that day was your son's birthday, wasn't it?"

"Tsk tsk, I just casually made up having a heart condition, and Ethan immediately took his own son's heart to keep it ready for me."

At this, my hands froze.

Seeing my reaction, she became even more animated.

"But I'm not even sick! Guess what I did with your son's heart? Heh, I chopped it up and flushed it down the toilet!"

"Serena!" I roared, my eyes blazing red.

A sharp, piercing agony instantly ripped through my entire body, making it impossible to breathe.
