My Husband's Secretary Worked Under His Desk, So I Streamed Their Affair
Chapter 3
The office door swung open, and several senior board members walked in, their faces grim.
I immediately stood up to greet them with a polite, professional smile.
"Gentlemen, please, come in."
Yet Carter remained absolutely motionless, buried in his leather executive chair.
He didn't even turn his body, keeping himself stiffly facing forward.
In the corporate world, where etiquette is everything, this was the height of arrogance and disrespect.
The board members' eyes flashed with scrutiny and annoyance.
I stepped aside, making a welcoming gesture while thoughtfully suggesting, "Why don't we move over to the smaller meeting table? It's more spacious, and I've prepared coffee and pastries."
「How is the male lead supposed to stand up?! First of all, the popping beads have him so overstimulated he can't move, and second, his gray suit pants are probably soaked. If he stands up, his secret is out!」
「Hearing the noise, the secretary seems to be going even harder! Does she think Carter clutching her hair is him praising her? She's trying so hard for a 'reward'!」
「The secretary isn't entirely in control either! Those beads have an aphrodisiac effect. It doesn't just make the guy feel good; the drug makes the woman lose her mind and go wilder! These two fools used a whole box. Now they're stuck. Neither can stop!」
Sure enough, Carter's voice squeezed through his teeth, tight and strained.
"No need."
"It's just a quick update. We can discuss it right here. Why don't you gentlemen take a seat on the sofa over there?"
The air in the room suddenly turned ice-cold.
One of the board members, Marcus Miller, let out a harsh sneer.
"Mr. Vance is certainly putting on airs lately. Are we old-timers no longer worthy of you standing up to greet us?"
Normally, with Carter's hot-tempered personality, he would have slammed his hand on the desk and put these old men in their place.
But today, he had to take it.
He had to endure the board's mockery while simultaneously enduring the increasingly frenzied torment beneath his desk.
