My Trashy Ex Got My Evil Cousin Pregnant, So I Sent Him To Jail

Chapter 1

4,358 words

I was taking my mom, Sarah, and my Aunt Susan to see the new condo I had just bought.

But when I unlocked the door, I walked in on my cousin Hailey, wearing my clothes, getting hot and heavy with my boyfriend Liam on the living room couch.

…

The moment the door cracked open, my family and I heard Hailey's shameless moans echoing from inside.

"Oh, Liam... who's better? Me or Chloe?"

"You, of course, babe..."

My boyfriend, Liam, gasped for breath, spitting in disgust when he mentioned my name. "Chloe is such a frigid prude. She won't even let me touch her!"

I instinctively tried to close the door, but Aunt Susan, who was standing right behind me, couldn't hold back.

She had always been hot-tempered and overbearing. Pushing past me, she slammed the door wide open.

In the sparsely furnished living room, their two bodies were tangled together.

The heavy thud of the door slamming against the wall startled the passionate couple.

Hearing the noise, Hailey looked up. Seeing the three of us walking in, she shrieked, grabbed whatever clothes she could to cover her bare body, and cowed behind Liam.

Liam's face turned incredibly pale. I couldn't tell if he was furious because he was interrupted at the climax, or because his dirty secret had been exposed.

Probably both. After all, he was a narcissistic jerk who cared about his reputation more than anything.

"Liam! You're Chloe's boyfriend! How could you sleep with Hailey?!"

Aunt Susan immediately flew into a rage. She glared at the shirtless Liam and yelled at the top of her lungs, "If you do this, how is Hailey ever going to find a decent husband?!"

"Stop screaming! Your daughter was the one who seduced me!"

Irritated, Liam rubbed his ears. His eyes pierced through the small crowd to look at me, standing at the very back in absolute silence.

Since we started dating, I had always catered to him. I had never even raised my voice at him once.

When our eyes met, I forced a look of sheer heartbreak and confusion onto my face.

Aunt Susan was still screaming and cursing like a madwoman. I took a deep breath, gathering my courage, and asked, "Susan, yelling won't solve anything. How do you want to handle this?"

"How do I want to handle this?"

Hearing my question, Aunt Susan finally shut her loud mouth.

Her eyes darted around, subtly lingering on the expensive Rolex on Liam's wrist.

"Chloe, sweetie... we all heard it just now. You and Liam haven't actually done anything yet, right?"

"So... why don't you just let Hailey have Liam?"

"No!" I rejected her immediately without even thinking. "Anything else, but not this."

Seeing my firm stance, Hailey got anxious.

She poked her head out and snapped, "Chloe, are you out of your mind?"

"Your boyfriend just slept with me, and you're still treating him like some prize?"

I opened my mouth to shoot back, but my timid mother, who had been silent since we walked in, finally moved. She grabbed my arm.

"Chloe... Susan is right. Maybe... you should just let Hailey have him?"

"Mom?!" I turned to look at my mother in absolute disbelief.

She knew how absurd and unfair her request was. She hung her head, avoiding my gaze.

"You're the older one. You should let Hailey have her way..."

I had heard this sentence a thousand times growing up.

Hailey loved stealing my things. Whenever I cried and fought back, my mother would pacify me with those exact words.

My eyes welled up with tears of grievance, but I remained firm in my refusal.

"I'm not giving Liam up to anyone!"

"Everyone makes mistakes. Even though he hurt me, I love him, and I'm willing to forgive him!"

I made my stance crystal clear. No matter how much Aunt Susan and Hailey screamed, or how much my mother pleaded, I didn't budge.

Watching the chaos unfold, Liam smirked. He looked extremely pleased with my reaction.

I had stroked his ego perfectly. His toxic male vanity was fully satisfied.

Like a benevolent king handing down a decree, he finally spoke up to show his stance. "I'm not a trophy to be passed around."

"I have no intention of breaking up with Chloe for now."

With those words, the room finally fell silent.

I suppressed my emotions, but eventually, I couldn't take it anymore. I turned and bolted out the door.

—Because if I stayed for one more second, I wouldn't have been able to stop myself from laughing out loud.

Ugh, what a delusional, narcissistic loser.
