My Wife Gave My Daughter's House to Her Ex, So I Left Her with Nothing
Chapter 1
We had been married for seven years. Yet, my wife’s childhood best friend, Julian, moved right into the new townhouse I had just bought for our daughter.
He held up the deed in front of my face, wearing a smug grin. "What bond could possibly beat being childhood sweethearts, Ethan?"
Before I could even demand an explanation, my wife, Chloe, rushed forward and shielded him behind her back.
"He just got divorced and has nowhere else to go. It’s hard for a single dad to manage on his own. I’m just trying to help him out."
"It’s just a house deed. Why do you have to be so petty and dramatic about it?"
And just like that, they kicked me out of my own property.
Half an hour later, Julian sent me a private Snapchat message. It was a picture of a luxury watch.
In the background, Chloe was handing her credit card to the cashier.
"I bet Chloe has never bought you anything this expensive, has she?" the caption read.
I knew Chloe bought it to comfort him.
This time, I didn’t throw a fit. I didn’t argue. I simply decided to get a divorce.
