The Empire That Fell for a Violin
Chapter 8
A cruel excitement flashed in Tyler’s eyes.
He let go of my hair.
His gaze fell directly on my right hand resting on the floor.
That was a hand praised by countless music critics as "kissed by God."
Slender, pale, perfectly proportioned.
A hand born solely for the violin.
"Julian said your hands are the most important thing to you."
Tyler smiled wickedly.
"Since you ruined Bianca’s violin."
"I guess you won't be needing these hands anymore."
He raised his heavy leather shoe.
Aimed right at my right hand.
And stomped down with full force.
"No!"
My eyes widened in pure terror.
Fear completely consumed me.
I desperately tried to pull my hand back.
But the two bodyguards pinned my arms down flat.
I couldn't move an inch.
"CRACK!"
The sickening sound of bones shattering.
Echoed clearly in the dead silent dressing room.
