Under Her Touch, The CEO's Blind Masseur
Chapter 2
My cheeks flushed, and I waved my hands in embarrassment. "Come on, Chloe. A rich, beautiful woman like that? Why would she ever be interested in a blind guy?"
Chloe chuckled. "Who knows? Maybe she just likes your type."
"Let's go. She's waiting outside. I'll introduce you."
Chloe led me out to meet my new employer.
As we approached, a delicate fragrance drifted into my nose. I took a soft breath, inhaling the scent.
Unlike Chloe’s heavy, seductive perfume, this woman wore something subtle, elegant, and deeply mesmerizing.
"Get in the car."
Her voice was crisp, clear, and incredibly sweet.
For some reason, it sounded familiar. I felt like I had heard it somewhere before, but I couldn't quite place it.
I climbed in, and the car purred to life, gliding smoothly onto the road.
Feeling the premium leather of the spacious seat, I knew this was an incredibly expensive luxury car.
Before we left, Chloe had told me that the client insisted on keeping her identity private, so I was just supposed to call her Ms. Vance.
Chloe also mentioned that Ms. Vance was notoriously cold and reserved. She usually only got facials at the spa and had never booked a full-body massage before.
Chloe had joked that Ms. Vance must have been seduced by my handsome face to suddenly book a month-long retainer.
And Chloe was right about her personality. Ms. Vance didn't say a single word after the car started.
The silence inside the cabin was heavy, broken only by the quiet hum of the engine. I kept my eyes forward, focusing on my breathing.
About twenty minutes later, the car stopped. Ms. Vance got out first.
"Give me your hand."
She opened my door, her voice soft but commanding.
I hesitated for a second before reaching out. A soft, warm hand wrapped around mine.
It was her hand.
Her palm was warm, her fingers long and slender. It might have been my imagination, but the moment our skin touched, I felt her hand tense up.
This cold, wealthy woman didn't care that I was blind. She actually condescended to guide me out of the car. That single gesture filled me with warmth.
She didn't let go of my hand as she led me forward.
After a few steps, we stopped. I heard the beep of a smart lock, followed by the heavy click of a front door swinging open.
"We're here," she said softly.
Still holding my hand, she began guiding me through the house, explaining the layout.
By my count, her mansion had at least twelve rooms, six bathrooms, and a dedicated massage room.
She was mind-blowingly rich.
What shocked me even more was that every doorway was equipped with smart sensors. Whenever I approached a door, a subtle voice prompt would tell me which room it was.
Furthermore, every potentially hazardous spot—stairs, sharp corners, the bathroom, and the kitchen—had safety features designed specifically for blind people.
It made no sense. These modifications seemed like they were installed just for me.
But why?
Was her booking me at the spa not a sudden decision, but a calculated plan?
I shook my head, dismissing the ridiculous thought.
"I have some work to finish up. You can sit in the living room, or go rest in Guest Room 3 on the first floor. That room is reserved for you."
Guest Room 3 was the first door on the right of the living room. Based on the layout, it was a prime guest suite, almost as large as a master bedroom.
Why would she give a masseur such a nice room? Normally, I'd expect to be put in the basement staff quarters.
"Ms. Vance, that's too generous. I can just stay in the staff room."
"It's settled," she replied, her footsteps already fading as she walked away, leaving me no room to argue.
