I glared at them through the glass partition, my teeth clenched. "Chloe! You brought him here just to humiliate me, didn't you?"

Chloe sneered, completely shameless. "Exactly. I brought him here to show you what a real man looks like."

"And let's be honest, Ryan. I sent you to prison so I could be with Brandon. He's a thousand times—no, a million times—better than you!"

"What did you ever give me besides your stupid money? You couldn't satisfy me. You gave me zero emotional value."

"But I didn't just come here to laugh at you. I need you to sign this divorce agreement."

I read the paper, my blood boiling. "You want me to sign away the house, the cars, and all my savings? Leave with absolutely nothing? In your dreams!"

Chloe smiled coldly. "Don't want to sign? Fine. I still have the video of you 'raping' me. If you don't sign, I'll post it all over TikTok and Instagram. Let's see how the internet treats a convicted rapist."

"And... I'm sure your dad wouldn't want to be harassed by angry mobs. Especially since your mom just died."

I squeezed my fists so hard my nails dug into my palms. Just a few days ago, I got the news of my mom's death. If it weren't for this toxic snake, my mom would never have had a stroke!

My dad was the only family I had left. He was in terrible health, struggling to survive alone. I couldn't let them destroy him too.

Forced into a corner, I swallowed my rage and signed the papers.

Brandon put his arm around Chloe, looking at me with a smug grin. "Thanks, Ryan. From now on, your wife is mine. Your house, your car, and your millions in the bank... they're all mine. Sucks to be you, bro!"

Their obnoxious laughter echoed in my head. Even now, reborn in a new life, that laughter still rang in my ears.

I clenched my fists, swearing to make them pay a thousand times over!

"Ryan? Babe? Are you listening? What do you think of my idea?"

Chloe nudged me, snapping me out of my thoughts. She was still purring like a kitten, desperate for me to agree.

I looked at her, a cold smile forming in my mind.

Oh, Chloe. You have no idea, do you? God gave me a second chance. I am not stepping into your trap this time.

I smiled warmly at her. "Babe, you're acting a bit strange today. You've been so cold to me lately, and suddenly you're this passionate? Even suggesting roleplay?"

"Are you hiding something from me?"
