The moment she left the room, I hired a private investigator to dig up everything on Brandon Vance and Chloe's affair.

Within twenty-four hours, I had everything: their text logs, hotel records, and photos. Looking at the evidence, my hands shook with rage.

Brandon was a personal trainer at a local high-end gym. He was tall, muscular, and handsome, which made him very popular with rich women.

But he had a secret addiction: he loved day-trading and crypto. He was terrible at it but dreamed of getting rich overnight. He lost thousands of dollars every week, and his trainer salary couldn't cover his debts.

To fund his lifestyle, he targeted wealthy, lonely housewives. When the gym was slow, he frequented upscale bars and clubs to hunt for prey.

And Chloe was his perfect target.

To seek excitement, Chloe had started going to those clubs four months ago. Her private life was filthy.

She met Brandon at a bar, and within twelve hours, they were in a hotel room. After that, she was hooked.

To keep me from suspecting anything, she bought a VIP membership at his gym. She lied to me, saying she wanted to get in shape, using it as an excuse to stay out late or even spend the night "at a friend's house."

Chloe didn't have a job. I gave her ten thousand dollars a month for allowance. If she ran out, she would just ask for more. Because I trusted her, I never questioned her spending.
